MAHASISWA KESEHATAN DAN NON-KESEHATAN UNIVERSITAS
MATARAM PASCA PROGRAM VAKSINASI PEMERINTAH

Background : Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) adalah penyakit menular yang
dapat menyebabkan gangguan pernapasan yang disebabkan oleh Severe Acute
Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV2). Masyarakat memiliki
tingkat kewaspadaan yang tinggi terhadap COVID-19 dikarenakan angka
kesakitan dan kematian yang terus meningkat. Kewaspadaan ini kemudian
menimbulkan keresahan dan ketakutan berlebihan di beberapa komunitas
masyarakat yang tidak dilandasi oleh pengetahuan yang tepat. Penularan virus
corona dari jenazah kepada orang di sekitarnya yaitu petugas pemulasaraan
jenazah dan keluarga jenazah akibat COVID-19 dapat terjadi melalui kontak
langsung dengan cairan tubuh jenazah, benda-benda di sekitar jenazah yang
berada terkontaminasi virus corona dan aerosol yang terbentuk saat tubuh
dipindahkan. Tenaga medis memiliki risiko tinggi tertular virus COVID-19 karena
bersentuhan langsung dengan jenazah COVID-19 selama proses pemulasaraan
jenazah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap
tentang metode penatalaksanaan jenazah pasien COVID-19 pada mahasiswa
kesehatan dan non-kesehatan di Universitas Mataram pasca program vaksinasi
pemerintah.
Method : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan
rancangan cross sectional. Partisipan merupakan mahasiswa kesehatan yang
diwakili oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Farmasi dan mahasiswa non-kesehatan
yang diwakili oleh Program Studi Arsitektur Universitas Mataram yang
memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Data yang digunakan merupakan data
primer yang diambil secara langsung melalui pengisian kuesioner berupa Google
form. Pengambilan dan pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan metode
non-probability purposive sampling. Sebanyak 50 partisipan ikut serta dalam
penelitian ini yang mana telah memenuhi sampel minimal yaitu 40 orang.
Penelitian ini dilakukan di Program Studi Farmasi Fakultas Kedokteran dan
Program Studi Arsitektur Fakultas Teknik Universitas Mataram pada bulan Juli
2022 ? Agustus 2022.
Result & Conclusion : Gambaran tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa kesehatan
(Prodi Farmasi) dan mahasiswa non-kesehatan (Prodi Arsitektur) tentang metode
penatalaksanaan jenazah pasien COVID-19 yaitu sebagian besar mahasiswa
memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang rendah dan tingkat sikap pada kategori cukup.

DESCRIPTION OF KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES ABOUT THE
METHODS OF MANAGING THE BODIES OF COVID-19 PATIENTS AT
THE UNIVERSITY OF MATARAM AFTER THE GOVERNMENT'S
VACCINATION PROGRAM

Background : Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease that can
cause respiratory problems caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome
Coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV2). The community has a high level of awareness of
COVID-19 due to the increasing number of morbidity and mortality. This
vigilance then gave rise to anxiety and excessive fear in several communities
which were not based on proper knowledge. Transmission of the coronavirus from
the corpse to the people around it, which is the corpse processing officer and the
family of the corpse that causes COVID-19, can occur through direct contact with
the body fluids of the corpse, objects around the body that is contaminated with
the coronavirus and aerosols that are formed when the body is moved. Medical
personnel have a high risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus because they come
into direct contact with the COVID-19 corpse during the processing of the corpse.
This study aims to assess the level of knowledge and attitudes about the method of
managing the bodies of COVID-19 patients in health and non-health students at
the University of Mataram after the government's vaccination program.
Method : This research is an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional
design. Participants were health students represented by the Pharmacy Study
Program students and non-health students represented by the Architecture Study
Program at the University of Mataram who met the inclusion and exclusion
criteria. The data used are primary data taken directly through filling out a
questionnaire in the form of a Google form. Retrieval and collection of research
data were carried out using a non-probability purposive sampling method. A total
of 50 participants took part in this study which fulfilled the minimum sample of
40 people. This research was conducted at the Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty
of Medicine and Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, University
of Mataram in July 2022 ? August 2022.
Result & Conclusion : The description of the level of knowledge of health
students (Pharmacy Study Program) and non-health students (Architecture Study
Program) about the methods of managing the bodies of COVID-19 patients is that
most students have a low level of knowledge and the level attitude is in the
sufficient category.
