HUBUNGAN PEMBERIAN MP-ASI (BUBUR SUSU) TERHADAP STATUS GIZI BALITA USIA 6-12 BULAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS JEMBATAN KEMBAR KABUPATEN LOMBOK BARAT
ABSTRAK
HUBUNGAN PEMBERIAN MP-ASI (BUBUR SUSU) TERHADAP STATUS GIZI BALITA USIA 6-12 BULAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS JEMBATAN KEMBAR KABUPATEN LOMBOK BARAT
Latar belakang :Makanan pendamping ASI adalah makanan atau minuman yang diberikan pada usia 6-24 bulan untuk mencukupi kebutuhan gizi balita.Pemberian makanan pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) dini maupun terlambat akan menyebabkan bayi rentan mengalami penyakit infeksi, alergi, kekurangan gizi, dan kelebihan gizi, sehingga dapat menyebabkan malnutrisi dan gangguan pertumbuhan. Pola pemberian MP-ASI pada balita yang tidak sesuai umurnya juga berisikomengalami gizi buruk.
Tujuan :Untuk mengetahui hubungan kebiasaan pemberian MP-ASI (Bubur Susu) terhadap status gizi balita usia 6-12 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Jembatan Kembar Kabupaten Lombok Barat.
Metode :Jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analitik yang menggambarkan hubungan kebiasaan pemberian MP ASI (bubur susu) dengan status gizi balita. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 51 responden.
Hasil : Status gizi balita paling banyak berdasarkan BB/U yaitu gizi baik 49 orang (96,1 %), berdasarkan PB/U yaitu gizi normal47 orang (92,2 %), berdasarkan BB/PB yaitu gizi normal 49 orang (96,1 %). Hasil uji chi-square diperoleh nilai p ≥ 0,05, sehingga tidak didapatkan adanya hubungan antara tingkat pemberian MP-ASI (frekuensi, porsi dan komposisi)terhadap status gizipada balita usia 6-12 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Jembatan Kembar.
Kesimpulan :Tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kebiasaan pemberian MP-ASI (Bubur Susu) terhadap status gizi balita usia 6-12 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Jembatan Kembar Kabupaten Lombok Barat.

ABSTRACT
The Relationship BetweenWeaning Food Practice (Milk Porridge) With Nutritional Status For Infants Aged 6-12 Months In The Puskesmas Jembatan Kembar District, Lombok Barat

Background: Weaning food is a food or drink that contains of nutrients, which is given to infants aged 6-24 months for completing the nutrition need besides breastfeeding. Weaning food earlier or too late will cause the infants easier to get infections, allergies, nutritional deficiencies, and excess nutrients, which can lead to malnutrition and impaired growth. Introduction of weaning food for infants that is not proper with their age could bea risk for malnutrition.
Objective: To determine the relationship betweenweaning food practice (milk porridge) with nutritional status for infants aged 6-12 months in the Puskesmas Jembatan Kembar District, Lombok Barat.
Methods: This research was a descriptive analyticstudy with cross sectional design. This study was conducted in the Puskesmas Jembatan Kembar District, Lombok Barat in December 2016-January 2017. Samples were taken by consecutive sampling method with numbers of samples studied were 51. Data analysis used chi square test.
Results:Based on BB/U, there were 49 infants had good nutritional status. Based on the PB/U, there were 47 infants (92,2%) had normal nutritional status, and based on BB/PB, there were 49 infants (96.1 %) had normal nutritional status respectively. Therewas no significant relationship between weaning food practice (frequency, portions and composition) with nutritional status of infants aged 6-12 months in the Puskesmas Jembatan Kembar District (p ≥ 0,05).
Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between weaning food pratice (milk porridge) with nutritional status for infants aged 6-12 months in the Puskesmas Jembatan Kembar District, Lombok Barat.
