Latar Belakang: Baduta mengalami periode golden period dengan bertumbuh
pesat terutama pada usia 6-24 bulan, yang memerlukan asupan nutrisi tambahan.
Kekurangan nutrisi dapat menyebabkan gizi buruk dan berdampak negatif pada
kesehatan baduta. MP-ASI yang bervariasi penting untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gizi
mereka. Prevalensi stunting di Indonesia pada 2022 mencapai 21,6%, dengan
Kabupaten Lombok Tengah mencatat angka tertinggi di Provinsi NTB, yaitu 37%.
Lebih dari 40% anak usia 6-24 bulan memiliki pola makan kurang beragam,
meningkatkan risiko stunting. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan variasi MPASI dengan stunting di Puskesmas Puyung, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah.
Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan metode
cross-sectional. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari ibu atau pengasuh dari baduta yang
berusia 6-24 bulan sebanyak 90 orang di wilayah kerja puskesmas puyung,
Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode stratified
random sampling. Data diambil menggunakan buku Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak (KIA)
dan menggunakan Semi-quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (sFFQ).
Analisis data bivariat dilakukan menggunakan uji chi square
Hasil: Dari 90 responden terdapat 26 baduta (28,9%) dengan variasi MP-ASI yang
kurang beragam, dan terdapat 49 baduta (54,5%) yang mengalami stunting. Setelah
dilakukan analisis bivariat dengan menggunakan uji chi square ditemukan p value
0,693 (p>0,05). Hasil ini menujukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan
antara pemberian variasi MP-ASI pada baduta usia 6-24 bulan dengan kejadian
stunting di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Puyung, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah
Simpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan antara pemberian variasi MP-ASI pada baduta
usia 6-24 bulan dengan kejadian stunting di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Puyung,
Kabupaten Lombok Tengah

Background: Infants under the age of 2, or "baduta," undergo a golden period of
rapid growth, especially between the ages of 6-24 months, which requires additional
nutritional intake. Nutrient deficiencies can lead to malnutrition and negatively
impact the infant health. A varied complementary feeding (MP-ASI) is crucial to
meet their nutritional needs. The prevalence of stunting in Indonesia reached 21.6%
in 2022, with Lombok Tengah Regency recording the highest rate in the province
of NTB at 37%. More than 40% of children aged 6-24 months have a monotonous
diet, increasing the risk of stunting. This study explores the relationship between
the variety of MP-ASI and stunting at Puskesmas Puyung, Lombok Tengah
Regency.
Methods: This study was an analytical observational study using a cross-sectional
method. The subjects of the study consisted of 90 mothers or caregivers of infants
aged 6-24 months in the working area of Puskesmas Puyung, Lombok Tengah
Regency. Sampling was carried out using the stratified random sampling method.
Data were collected using the Maternal and Child Health (KIA) book and the Semiquantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (sFFQ). Bivariate data analysis was
performed using the chi-square test.
Results: Out of the 90 respondents, 26 infants (28.9%) had limited variation in their
complementary feeding (MP-ASI), and 49 infants (54.5%) were stunted. After
bivariate analysis using the chi-square test, it was found that the p value was 0.693
(p>0.05). These results indicates that there is no significant relationship between
the variation of MP-ASI given to infants aged 6-24 months and the incidence of
stunting in the working area of Puskesmas Puyung, Lombok Tengah Regency.
Conclusion: There is no association between the provision of a variety of
complementary foods to children aged 6-24 months and the incidence of stunting
in the working area of Puskesmas Puyung, Central Lombok Regency.
