PENGARUH EKSTRAK RAMUAN SYZYGIUM POLYANTHUM, IMPERATA CYLINDRICA, CANTELLA ASIATICA, ANDROGRAPHIS PANICULATA TERHADAP KADAR SGOT DAN SGPT TIKUS YANG DIINDUKSI HIPERKOLESTEROLEMIA DAN HIPERURISEMIA

PENGARUH EKSTRAK RAMUAN SYZYGIUM POLYANTHUM, IMPERATA CYLINDRICA, CANTELLA ASIATICA, ANDROGRAPHIS PANICULATA TERHADAP KADAR SGOT DAN SGPT TIKUS YANG DIINDUKSI HIPERKOLESTEROLEMIA DAN HIPERURISEMIA

Latar Belakang : Hepar adalah organ yang memiliki fungsi sangat penting untuk metabolisme. Nutrisi yang metabolismenya terjadi di hepar adalah kolesterol dan purin dengan hasil metabolisme berupa asam urat. Ekstrak ramuan yang terdiri atas Syzygium polyanthum, Imperata cylindrica, Cantella asiatica, Andrographis paniculata digunakan untuk menurunkan kadar asam urat dan kolesterol. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak ramuan terhadap kadar SGOT dan SGPT pada tikus setelah pemberian 14 hari.
Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental laboratoris dengan desain post test only control group. Tikus yang digunakan berjumlah 20 ekor yang dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok yaitu kelompok kontrol negatif, kelompok kontrol positif (allopurinol 5 mg/200grBB), kelompok perlakuan dosis I (29 mg/200grBB) dan perlakuan dosis II (58 mg/200grBB). Semua kelompok diberi diet tinggi kolesterol dan purin serta diinduksi propiltiourasil 10 mg/KgBB dan kalium oksonat 42 mg/200grBB. Tikus diterminasi pada hari ke-15 dan diambil sampel darah intrakardiak untuk mengukur kadar SGOT dan SGPT. Data diolah menggunakan uji One Way ANOVA dan Kruskall Wallis.
Hasil : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rerata kadar SGOT tertinggi pada kelompok kontrol positif (126,02 U/L) dan terendah pada perlakuan dosis I (117.80 U/L), dengan nilai p = 0,775. Rerata kadar SGPT tertinggi pada kontrol negatif (69,00 U/L) dan terendah pada kontrol positif (45,8 U/L), dengan nilai p = 0,150. Hasil nilai p pada rerata kadar SGOT dan SGPT menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang bermakna pada masing-masing kelompok perlakuan.
Kesimpulan : Pemberian ekstrak ramuan Syzygium polyanthum, Imperata cylindrica, Cantella asiatica dan Andrographis paniculata tidak mempengaruhi kadar SGOT dan SGPT tikus.

The Effect of Syzygium Polyanthum, Imperata cylindrica, Cantella asiatica, Andrographis paniculata Extract on SGOT and SGPT Level of Hypercholesterolemia and Hyperuricemia Induced Rats

Background: Liver is an organ that has a very important function for metabolism. Nutrients that metabolized occurs in the liver are cholesterol and purine with metabolic is uric acid. Herb extracts consisting of Syzygium polyanthum, Imperata cylindrica, Cantella asiatica, Andrographis paniculata that are use to decrease uric acid and cholesterol levels. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of giving extract on levels of SGOT and SGPT in rats after giving 14 days administration.
Method: This research was a laboratory experimental with post test only control group design. A twenty male rats are divided into 4 groups: negative control group, positive control group (allopurinol 5 mg / 200grBB), dose I treatment group (29 mg / 200 grBB) and dose II treatment (58 mg / 200 grBB). All groups were fed with high cholesterol and purine diet and induced propylthiouracil 10 mg / kg and potassium oxonate 42 mg / 200grBB. The rats were terminated on the 15th day of administration and intracardiac blood samples were taken to measure the levels of SGOT and SGPT. The data analyzed using One Way ANOVA Kruskal Wallis test.
Result: The results showed the highest rate of SGOT was in the positive control group (126.02 U / L) and the lowest was in the treatment of dose I (117.80 U / L), with p = 0.775. The highest rate of SGPT was in the negative control (69,00 U / L) and the lowest was in positive control (45,8 U / L), with p value = 0,150. The result of p value on the mean of SGOT and SGPT levels showed no significant difference in each treatment group.
Conclusion: Administration of the extract containing Syzygium polyanthum, Imperata cylindrica, Cantella asiatica and Andrographis paniculata in hypercholesterolemia and hyperuricemia induced did not affect the levels of SGOT and SGPT rats.
