Kata kunci : gambaran histopatologi, well organized granuloma, poorly organized granuloma, kadar laju endap darah, limfadenitis tuberkulosis

Background: Indonesia is a country with the third highest TB cases in the world with 420.994 cases in 2017. TB infection can be found manifesting outside the lungs called Extra Pulmonary Tuberculosis (EPTB) with 35% of them being lymphadenitis TB. The diagnosis of EPTB is made through clinical and histopathological examination of the affected organs. The histopathological picture obtained showed an immune response as a sign of infection. Signs of infection can also be seen through an LED examination. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between histopathological features and ESR levels in patients with LNTB in West Nusa Tenggara.
Methods: An observational analytic study design with a cross sectional approach obtained from the medical records of LNTB patients in West Nusa Tenggara. The sample size of this study amounted to 51 with chi-square test analysis.
Results: Respondents in this study were obtained from several regencies and cities in West Nusa Tenggara which were dominated by female 35 respondents (68.6%), the last education is senior high school 16 respondents (31.4%), marital status is not married 26 respondents (51%), occupation is student 13 respondents (25.5%), histopathological type is Well Organized Granuloma (WOG) 26 respondents, and normal ESR levels are 42 respondents (82.4%).
Conclusion: There is no relationship between histopathological features and ESR levels in LNTB patients in West Nusa Tenggara.
Key words : histopathological features, well organized granuloma, poorly organized granuloma, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, tuberculous lymphadenitis
